Well, we made it out of San Francisco without throwing any major tantrums (noooooo! I don't WANNA gooooooooo!).Julia, Guido, Lola and I made it back to Milwaukee in two successful flights, thanks to Mom's help in wrangling all beings and baggage. Julia is now a seasoned flyer and was a perfect angel the whole time. The cats survived their stressful time in cargo and are now adjusting to their temporary surroundings.
The movers came and went without a hitch, so Paul and his Mom were able to hit the road a day earlier than anticipated. So far they've enjoyed driving along Route 66 and were even able to stop in an old mining town to feed some wild burros before they arrived in Flagstaff for the night. They started off today by taking a detour to the Grand Canyon before heading on their merry way. They're hoping to get to Amarillo, TX tonight, but that might be a stretch.
Closing for the Exploseph Manse is scheduled for next Wednesday and we hope to spend that first night in our new home, too bad our furniture won't be there for a few more days after that!We already miss everyone in San Francisco :( Thank you all for making these last few weeks (not to mention the last 6-ish years) such great ones for us!
