The Learning Curve

Heading into week 17 of incubating lil' Exploseph, we're making quite the progress! Did you know that this week, if I held out the palm my hand the baby could sit in the center?! How cool is that? Their hearing has become more finely tuned causing them to react to some loud noises such as a loud truck going past or a slamming door. They're reaction to sound will make them move around more often.

We're also just over one week away from finding out whether lil' Exploseph is a future cheerleader or football player. My guess is still leaning towards a girl, but make your guess on our poll at the left of this page.

Along with learning more about baby products and baby care arrangements (how can an infant daycare center have a waiting list over a year long?!?!), we're going to have to start learning about how to do this whole "parenting" thing. Luckily, there are several sources out there to help us. I leave you today with two pearls of parenting wisdom. Enjoy!

Looks like Paul and I will have to rethink our plans for feeding and bonding with the baby. Back to the drawing board!
