18 Months & Growing Like A Weed

Today is a big day. Our little JuJuBee turns one and a half today! Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday we were moving back here with a kiddo who wasn't yet one, and here we have a fully mobile, chatty, energetic, all-out toddler.

One thing about 18 months - she now understands what the doctor's office is. The lobby was fine, but the second the nurse came to lead us to the exam room Juju's little brow furrowed and she gave the nice nurse some major stink eye. Upon entering the room the meltdown had begun and Project Wrangle/Calm the Kid was in full effect. We were out in about an hour after all was said and done, and headed home with a clean bill of health.

Current Height: 33.75 inches (95th percentile! Who is she getting this height from?)
Current Weight: 24 lbs 6 oz (52nd percentile. Our little stringbean.)

Not only is she long & lean, Julia is FAST. She loves to run wherever she goes! Some of her current favorite activities are swinging on swings (seriously, she could swing all day), climbing, going down slides, swimming, playing with her dollhouse, drawing, and reading books. This one is obsessed with books. At least once a day she will bring you each of her books, one-by-one, until you've read them all.

And just like her Mommy was, Jules is proving to be quite the chatterbox. Sometimes it is difficlut for anyone other than us to understand what she's saying, so here is a list of all the things Julia says, including translations ;) Click on the image to see it larger.
