Poor little G, we all had a good laugh at that last picture, but he was the one who had to try to eat with that view! Ahhhh, the Mai Fest crescent moon...
This weekend I was also introduced to the wonder that is the suburban rummage sale. Yep, Saturday morning scavenging at its finest. I scored the motherlode at a sale just around the corner from our house. Julia is now the proud owner of her own kitchen, trampoline, doll house and various other item. $25 and a handful of Clorox wipes can sure go a long way!

Julia made a new friend this weekend as well! My old college roommate and her husband came over for a visit and brought their 3-month-old bundle of cuteness. At first Julia was jealous to see me holding him and tried to pry my hands off of this new kid, but after about 5 minutes she became pretty curious. She decided to show off all her toys to him one-by-one, but couldn't understand why he couldn't get up and run around with her. By the end of the evening she was tickling his feet and giving him kisses. Such a loving little sweetie our Juju is.

Sunday kicked off what I'm pretty sure will be my favorite season - BOATING SEASON! Woo hoo! We helped Mom & Dad get their boat launched and took the first official around the lake. It was a beautiful, sunny day but still a bit cool. Julia earned her sea legs very quickly and enjoyed being out on the water, almost as much as she enjoyed running all around the yard! We even wandered over to the neighbor's house and saw REAL chickens in his chicken coop. He gave us some and we made fresh hard-boiled eggs for lunch. Juju gobbled that egg down so fast!

What a great weekend, indeed.
